The Typing of the Dead 2 (TTotD2) is the sequel of The Typing of the Dead which was released for the Arcade (1999) and Dreamcast (2000). Set in the post-apocalyptic year of 2019, player will play as Ex AMS agent named "G" and Lisa, 19 year-old girl. Together they searching for Thomas Rogan, Lisa's father, who is missing after investigating EFI Research Facility. Same as its predecessor, to defeat the zombies player must type the word or phrase that appears on the screen. The more rapid and precise typing, the higher points can be achieved. TTotD2 based on The House of the Dead 3 and was released on 2008 exclusively only in Japan. Although there are some difficulties in punctuation mark, this game can be played almost perfect even for non Japanese player.
