"Gensou Maroku" which means "Records of Fantasy Dream" will bring player into traditional Japanese RPG which similar to The Genius of Sappheiros series. The gameplay is basically same to it's predecessor, but spell cards, lives, bombs now has been removed. Instead, new system called "Shikigami" was introduced to replace the spell. Along with your characters, these Shikigami also has ability to increasing their level as long as they are equipped. Four main characters are selectables: Reimu, Yukari, Byakuren and Meiling. The game recounts an incident in Gensokyou where humans and youkai are begun to mysteriously dissapear. Touhou Gensou Maroku - The Devil of Decline was released on Comiket 81 December 2011.
