Steins;Gate is the second collaboration project between 5pb. and Nitroplus after Chaos;Head which was released on five platforms: Xbox 360 (2009), PC (2010), Playstation Portable (2011), iOS (2011) and Playstation 3 (2012). The game is set in summer of 2010, approximately one year after the events that took place in Chaos;Head in Akihabara. The story is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. Later, they must avoid captured by an organization named SERN who have tracked them.
